03/08/2005 - Mount Lebanon - Chimney Fire

McMonagle Street

At approximately 5:00 pm on 3/8/05, a motorist passed by a home possibly on fire along McMonagle St.
and gave the cross street as Banksvile Rd, which had city fire fighers dispatched. The Pittsburgh units found the home several blocks up on McMonagle and was on fire from a malfunctioning chimney.

The city firefighters started suppressing the fire and notified Mt Lebanon when they realized that side of street was in Mt Lebanon's territory. Mt Lebanon arrived along with Dormont fire fighters
and finished the fire fighting activities allowing the Pittsburgh fire units to return to service in the city
