Residential Structure Fire - Penn Hills (12/22/2006)

December 22, 2006 - An older couple lost there 1 1/2 story home and 2 pet dogs after it is believed a candle in a living room area exploded causing a total loss of the house and contents and causing the first floor to fall into the basement. Firefighters from 222,225,227 responded. Asst chief 225 Pete who owns an auto and tire repair buisness was already heading to the scene to investigate the smoke he saw coming from the valley below as tones went off. Fire Marshal Jack Mason is investigating.
