Residential Structure Fire - Millvale Borough (6/23/2005)

Units responded to North Avenue for a structure fire with entrapment in the apartment above the Mason Jar Bar. The Chief of Police was the first on scene and rescued a male from the second floor of the building. The fire was contained to the second floor and roof with minimal damage to the very near exposures. EMS transported to male to a local hospital. Responding companies included Millvale Station 191, Bauerstown Station 259, Cherry City Station 260, Etna Station 149, Evergreen Station 246, Mt. Troy Station 239, Ross/West View EMS. Aspinwall Station 102 and Berkeley Hills Station 247 responded for RIT assignments.
