Around 2:45pm, Seville Station 251, Fairview Station 250, Keating Station 252, Fire Police Station 254, Fire Marshal Station 510, and Ross/West View EMSA were dispatched to Mazur Avenue in Ross Township for reports of a possible structure fire in an abandoned house. The first arriving officer reported heavy smoke and fire from the two-story building. The building was heavily damaged and the cause is under investigation.

Also assisting at the scene were Avalon Station 103, Bellevue Station 108, Evergreen Station 246, Laurel Gardens Station 253, Quaill Station 249, West View Station 297 Air 4.

Stations placed on standby included: Ben Avon Station 109, Berkeley Hills Station 247, Bauerstown Station 259, Emsworth Station 148, Kilbuck Station 182, Mt. Troy Station 239, Perrysville Station 248
