Residential Structure Fire - City of Pittsburgh (5/20/2005)

At approximately 5:30pm, Pittsburgh EOC dispatched units on Box 3-15 for a residential structure fire on Hamilton Avenue in the Homewood Neighborhood of the city. First alarm companies consisted of 17 Engine, 15 Engine, 18 Engine, 17 Truck, BC-3, MAC-2, Safety Chief, and 19 Engine as the Go Team. Rescue 1 and Medic 1 were also notified to respond. Upon leaving the station, 17 Truck reported heavy smoke in the area and requested first alarm transfers. Second Alarm was requested and consisted of 8 Engine, 12 Engine, 8 Truck, a Deputy Chief, and Unit 40. Later, a third alarm was requested and consisted of 6 Engine and 10 Engine.
