At 7:15am, Newcom 911 dispatched Marshall Station 185, Cranberry Station 21 (Butler County), and McCandless-Franklin Park EMS for a possible structure fire at the Warrendale Post Office on Northgate Drive. 185 C2 was first on scene and found flames coming from the roof of the structure. Mars Station 18 (Butler County), Wexford Station 228,  Bradford Woods Station 115, and Zelienople Station 22 (Butler County) were subsequently dispatched.

The building quickly became fully involved and burned for about 30 minutes before being brought under control. Units began to return around 10am.
