Structure Fire - Manor Township (7/6/2003)

Fire units were dispatched at 4:17am for a pickup truck on fire that spread to a nearby garage. The garage contained a sprint car shop. During the fire attack, part of the roof collapsed but landed on one of the sprint cars creating a void that allowed the three firefighters inside to escape. Two were transported to the hospital and were released an hour later. Manor Township Station 160, Ford Cliff Station 80, Bethel Township Station 270, Kittanning #6 Station 130 Truck and RIT, Kittanning #4 Station 120 Air Truck and Ford City EMS responded.
