At about 2:00am Marshall Twp. Station 185 and McCandless-Franklin Park EMS
were dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment on Interstate 79 Northbound
at the Warrendale Exit. Crews found a utility pickup truck collided with a Tractor
Trailer that was pulled off on the side of the road. The driver of the pickup
truck was entrapped for about 45 minutes and was flown by medical helicopter
to the hospital. Cranberry Twp. Station 21, Tri-Area Police and PA State Police
also assisted.
